Our guest is Sir Nicholas Hytner, who discusses this year’s Tony-winning Best Play War Horse. He originally acquired the rights to this popular children’s story set in World War I, and developed the stage adaptation at the National Theatre of London where he is the “(Artistic) Director.”
He is followed by Jesse Green of New York Magazine, Michael Musto of The Village Voice, and Patrick Pacheco of the Los Angeles Times, our Broadway aficionados, who review this year’s Tonycast. They also share their opinions of the “new improved” version of Spider-Man, which opens this week after its infamous 9-year “journey” to the stage.
