Historian James Shapiro, of Columbia University discusses the centuries old Shakespeare “authorship” controversy: the belief by thousands over the last four centuries that William Shakespeare, was, in fact, not responsible for writing the plays attributed to him. After receiving your notices about an interview with James Shapiro about his book, “Contested Will” I was disappointed NOT to have that interview on CUNY at 8:30 PM Saturday, October 22nd. Did I misread your notice. It listed various times for Theater Talk, featuring a discussion about Shakespeare. Please advise when this program will be available. Thank you
