First up, writer/director Alex Timbers and composer/lyricist Michael Friedman discuss their downtown hit Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, an “emo” musical about the seventh President of the United States: “Populism, yeah! Yeah!” In addition, our roving correspondants AndrewAndrew interview the muscial’s cast on the “red carpet” at their gala Public Theater opening.

Next, a visit from the British critics Mark Shenton, the reviewer of London’s Sunday Express and writer of a daily blog for The Stage, and the notorious West End WhingersPhil and Andrew (no last names please), the infamous UK bloggers.
