I’m absolutely infuriated to hear you all disparage Kristin Chenoweth’s performance in Promises, Promises. While you may think it was not the best role for her, it is completely ridiculous to ever refer her as “terrible”. This is an outrageously gifted performer, who even if you did not care for her casting, is simply incapable of being “terrible”. I will admit that Kristin was not served well by the poor direction of her storyline with Sheldrake, which seemed out of tune with the rest of the show. Nonetheless, Chenoweth’s vocal talents rose above the poor direction and her performance, particularly in “I’ll never love again” was utterly winning. Just pure talent on display.
    Shame on you.

    Dear KCSM:

This evening between 10:30 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. I saw on KCSM, Channel
17 cabel, some of “Tony Awards Predictions” that was released this year,
2010. I would like to suggest a stronger rating than “G”. In my opinion,
a “PG” rating would be more suitable than a “G” rating. One reason is
that a critic when describing a play said “…bump your crotch…” or
something like that. Another reason is that the critics tell why they
think that one or more plays will will an award, including “La Cage aux
Folles”, which may be a very controversial play for at least some people,
and I believe that at least once some of that play was shown on that TV
    program.

    Thank you for your attention.

    Sincerely,
    Jeff C. <<
