A Fond Farewell to Ragtime, plus Reviews from the Outer Limits

Washington Post theater critic Peter Marks discusses the current revival of Ragtime, which began at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington D.C, made the move to Broadway this fall, and, unfortunately, has just posted a closing notice on January 3rd.

Also, critics Aaron Riccio of the New Theater Corps and Chris Kompanek of Flavorpill.com review some notable new plays that have recently played off the beaten track of Broadway.

Finally, the ubiquitous AndrewAndrew at the opening of the new production of Dreamgirls at The Apollo Theater in Harlem, where the revival of the popular show launched its national tour. (Uplink available December 31.)
